Rachel Martin

I started my fitness journey by playing sports from a young age. I learned the importance of rehabilitation since I endured a couple of knee surgeries during my career as a basketball player.  At this point, a couple of things were clear to me.  Wellness is not a guarantee and I had to understand the link between proper movement and mechanics.  I worked with multiple athletic trainers, physical therapists, and personal trainers to regain my strength and to try and prevent further injuries. This motivated me to develop a passion to understand how to teach weightlifting correctly to not only strengthen the muscles to also strengthen the quality of life for my clients.

I like to think of myself as an ambassador of authentic wellness.  When people are healthy, they are happy.  When they are happy they have a unique type of energy they give back to the world and back to themselves. That energy is the foundation of true health and I wish that for everyone.
